PocketVault brings the safety back to the basics - our own pocket.
Our wallets are made of layered genuine soft leather and a metallic lining. This special lining acts as a shield that protects all your data from anyone attempting to steal it. This is what is referred to as RFID blocking technology.
But why do you need an RFID blocking wallet?
In the past decade most credit cards,IDs and all US passports contain an RFID (radio frequency identiification) chip that stores all our sensitive data. This has become so popular because is a much easier way to access the information whenever you need to use your card - you only have to wave it next to an RFID reader and it's done.
However this opened the door for hackers to use counterfeit RFID readers/ scanners which allows them to skim the account number, expiration date etc. and they can later on even replicate your card. This can be done just passing by you and scan the information even when you have your card/ID/passport, where you believe to be, "safely" tucked away in your bag/wallet.
The importance of the problem is proved by the rising annual cost of credit card fraud which is estimated to surpass the $10 billion threshold.
Safety and peace of mind are the premises upon we've built our company. High quality is very important to us using handcrafted designs and genuine leather to bring durable, stylish wallets to our customers while also protecting their most sensitive data.
