As of October 3, 2016, Amazon has changed their policy and does not allow discount codes in exchange for reviews anymore. See here: What does this mean for influencers and what do I do about the rest of the products I haven't received, but promised to make a review for? Will these be deleted from my review history. Thank you for any information you may have on how/if will continue to operate under these new Amazon guidelines, that would be great. Best, Becky

I'm also wondering how I can be removed from promotions here since I can no longer review them on Amazon.

Hello, everyone. We’d like to thank you for participating in this discussion. We reviewed the Update on Amazon Customer Reviews and decided to no longer provide Amazon Review tasks. We shall not, as some competitors, try finding alternative methods to disregard this Update on Amazon Customer Reviews. As you are well aware, Giveaway Service has always act in accordance with all FTC guidelines and best practices, which is going to be continued in the future, as well. As of October 3rd it is not going to be possible to receive reviews in exchange for a free or discounted product on Amazon. It is no longer possible to ask for Amazon reviews via Giveaway Service. However, sellers can still create promotions and get reviews on social media and personal blogs owned by our authors. This will provide great exposure for products and show customers’ experiences and impressions. The end result will, just like until now, be a boost in the sales. Sellers of Giveaway Service will be able to ask for reviews on the following platforms: Social media including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; Personal blogs; Etsy; and Walmart. You, as authors should refrain from posting reviews on Amazon until further notice. Maybe, if you post them now, they will be approved. However, Amazon hasn't issued an official statement about that. Stay tuned for additional instructions. Your Verification percentage will not be negatively affected by this. Kind regards, Miranda.

Hello, everyone. Instead of posting reviews on Amazon, you can now post those reviews on your social media accounts and verify them as Amazon reviews. In case of any additional questions, feel free to ask. Kind regards, Miranda.

Hello. Authors who applied for promotions before Oct 3, are under no obligation to review products on Amazon, they can review it on their social media and act in accordance with the Update on Customer Reviews. Authors who still want to post reviews on Amazon after Oct 3, can apply for Amazon deal promotion and they can verify their Amazon review if they create one. There are new promotions on Giveaway Service that require social media and/or blog reviews. Authors who do not want to continue posting reviews on Amazon can apply for those promotions. In case of any other questions, feel free to ask. Kind regards, Miranda.
