Is it common for businesses to allow their promotions to move past the final approval date without either approving or declining someone who has applied for the promotion? Currently I have applied for one promotion that had a final approval date almost two weeks ago, and another with a final approval date of a few days ago, and am still "pending" on both. So I'm just trying to find out if this is actually pretty common or not. Thanks!

Dear Andrew, authors who were not approved until Final approval date receive a notification of an automatic rejection 15 days after Final approval date. If you do not want to wait for that, you can opt-out of a promotion by clicking on the button "Opt-out" on the right from the promotion title. Some businesses do not reject authors who they do not want to approve, so automatic rejection happens in stated amount of days. Kind regards, Miranda.

Is it possible for businesses to still approve authors beyond the final approval date as well? Thanks.

Dear Andrew, businesses can approve authors no later than 15 days after the Final approval date. This rarely happens, but it's possible if other approved authors decide not to participate in the promotion. Kind regards, Miranda.
