How to Verify Your Posts
Go to “My Reviews” page, click on the “Manage tasks” for the promotion you want to verify the posts.
Only the tasks that you have been asked to do will be shown there.
These are all options and the instructions for each of them:
- Publish Blog Post:
You need to insert the URL generated for that promotion and shown in the text box into your blog post. Click on “Copy URL” and paste this into your blog post. You can make it either visible or invisible. Either way, our system will be able to recognize it. After you do this, copy your blog post URL and paste it into the text box. Then, click on “Verify”.
- Publish Facebook Post:
You can share the URL generated for that promotion and shown in the text box into your post. Click on “Copy URL” and paste this into your post. Then, you need to do is copy the URL of your post and paste it under “Publish Facebook Post” section. Then, click on “Verify”. You can get the exact Facebook post URL by clicking on the date of your post. Use that URL for verification.
- Publish Twitter Post:
You can share the URL generated for that promotion and shown in the text box into your post. After including this link into your post, you need to copy the URL of your post and paste it in the text box shown above "Verify" button. Then, click on “Verify”. You can get the exact URL by clicking on the date of your Twitter post. Use that URL for verification.
- Publish Instagram Post:
You can share the URL generated for that promotion and shown in the text box into your post. After including this link into your post, you need to copy the URL of your post and paste it in the text box shown above "Verify" button. Click on the image and copy that URL. Paste it in the text box and click on “Verify”. In case your Instagram post does not get verified immediately, please wait for 1 or 2 hours and try again. Sometimes, a few hours must pass in order for Instagram post to be properly verified.
- Publish Walmart or Etsy post:
There is no separate review URL when you review products on Walmart and Etsy. You will post Product URLs instead of review URLs. Read instructions below verification box carefully. You guarantee your reviews exist when posting Product URLs for these reviews. Misuse will lead to suspension.
- Amazon Posts:
After 10/03/2016, it is no longer mandatory to verify Amazon reviews. All platforms for facilitating reviewing decided to turn to a new business model where the reviews on Amazon are no longer an obligation. Creating a review on Amazon is no longer an obligation, but if an author writes a review on Amazon, (s)he can share the review URL with the seller or on social media. This is called to get deals with no requirement or expectation of a review. Not verifying an Amazon review will not have a negative effect on the Verification percentage of authors.
If you want to post a review about the product you received and share it with a business, it's best to use the Permalink from your Amazon review page as shown in the image below.
Common issues and errors
Here is a guide to help you solve some common issues and errors:
1. Your link is too long
You can remove the junk on the end of the permalink. Remove any unnecessary characters as long as your shortened link is working.
2. You're on a mobile device.
Unfortunately you won't be able to find your permalink through Amazon's mobile site. Please be sure you're using a desktop to get your permalink.
3. It's been less than 3 days since your purchase.
You need to wait at least 3 days from the time of your purchase to leave your product review and get your permalink.
4. You're searching for your permalink on a site other than Amazon.com.
Please be certain that you're looking for your permalink on the correct Amazon website for your country. If you look for your permalink on a site such as smile.amazon.com, you'll come up empty!
